Golden Cloud with Twilight power lift chair recliner in a living room

Electropedic offers local delivery, setup and service to all of California

Ordering a lift chair online can leave Compton families waiting on a freight window, then wrestling a heavy carton through the front door and puzzling over the controls. If anything breaks later, there is no one local to call.

Electropedic takes care of you from start to finish, with no freight windows and no guesswork. Our own technicians deliver Golden and Pride lift chairs to Compton, throughout Los Angeles County and across all of California. They bring the chair inside, set it up exactly where you want it and show everyone at home how it works. After the sale, our lifetime service commitment means we will always try to service an inoperable chair within 24 hours, and loaner chairs are available while we do. Motors and hand controls are kept in stock, and our family has served Southern California since 1964. That is the difference a local, family business makes.

Pride VivaLift! Ultra PLR-4955 power lift recliner and its key features

Pride PLR-4955 VivaLift! Ultra lift chair recliner

A gentle rocking-chair tilt with three heat zones and a soothing lumbar air massage.

At the heart of the VivaLift! Ultra is Pride’s exclusive VivaLift! Tilt, a pivot at the rear of the chair that lifts the front of the seat like a gently rocking chair. As it tilts, your knees rise above your heart and your weight settles evenly along your back, hips and legs. Pressure points fade, tired muscles loosen and you feel lighter than you have in years.

The Ultra keeps the comfort coming. Heat pads in the shoulders, lumbar and seat warm at three levels, and an air-bladder massage system gently presses your lower back at three intensities, all from buttons inside the armrest. True-infinite positioning, a power headrest and power lumbar shape every angle, while a hideaway wireless charger and cup holder keep your phone and drink within reach. A lithium battery backup keeps the chair working when the power goes out. Compton, this is relaxation the way it should feel.

Pride VivaLift! Tranquil 2 PLR-935 lift chair recliner in Astro Brown

Pride PLR-935 VivaLift! Tranquil 2 lift chair recliner

Power headrest, power lumbar and true-infinite positioning with a battery backup.

Many lift chairs handle the lift and forget about everything else. The headrest is fixed, so your neck bends forward. The lower back gets no help. The footrest stays low while your ankles swell. When the power fails, the chair stops right where it is, and so do you.

The VivaLift! Tranquil 2 gives you control over all of it. A power headrest lifts your head, neck and shoulders into a comfortable line, and power lumbar adds exactly the support your lower back wants. True-infinite positioning moves the backrest and footrest independently, and the footrest can rise above your heart for real relief. Two memory buttons on the toggle remote bring back favorite positions instantly, and a USB port keeps your phone charged. A lithium battery backup powers every motor, including the stand-assist lift, during an outage. Three sizes, three Astro colors and a very welcome price.

Golden Cloud PR517 4-zone Medium/Large power lift recliner

Lifestyle photos show the Golden Cloud family in Brisa Coffee Bean.

Golden PR517 Cloud power lift recliner

A custom bucket seat, four comfort zones and Golden’s plush Cloud cushioning.

The Golden PR517 Cloud starts with a custom bucket seat that cups your hips and supports your lower back, encouraging better posture while you sink into famously plush cushioning. Because you are held rather than swallowed, it stays comfortable for hours instead of minutes. Golden’s 4-Zone Comfort Zone system gives the footrest, backrest, headrest and lumbar independent adjustments, and patented MaxiComfort positioning repositions the seat as you recline.

That combination lets you build the exact position your body wants, whether you are reading, visiting with family or napping, and the programmable AutoDrive hand control saves it for one-touch return. Choose HeatWave heat or deluxe heat and vibrating massage to soothe stiffness at the end of the day. Golden builds the Cloud in the USA and backs its frame, lift frame and recline mechanism with a lifetime warranty. It is comfort you will look forward to every evening.

Golden PR761 EZ Sleeper with Twilight lift chair recliner

Golden PR761 EZ Sleeper with Twilight

The five-zone Twilight chair built for sleeping, with power headrest and lumbar.

If you have ever given up on your bed and spent the night in a recliner, you know the morning that follows: a stiff neck, a sore lower back and legs that feel heavier than when you sat down. Most chairs simply are not built for sleeping.

The Golden EZ Sleeper with Twilight is. Patented Twilight Tilt cradles your entire body backward, lifting your feet above your heart until you feel nearly weightless. The patented Rejuvenate position shifts pressure from your seat to your back, relieving the soreness long sitting causes. Five independent comfort zones, including a power headrest and power lumbar, support your neck and keep your spine in its natural S-curve. A plush chaise pad over a pocketed coil spring seat stays comfortable all night, and a lithium-ion battery backup keeps every motor working during an outage. Rated to 400 pounds, it turns long nights into restful ones.

Golden Relaxer PR766 power lift chair recliner

Golden PR766 Relaxer lift chair recliner

An adjustable waterfall back and the MaxiComfort recline that started it all.

The Relaxer’s signature feature is its adjustable three-pillow waterfall back. Each pillow can be positioned to meet your neck, shoulders and lower back, so the chair adapts to your height and build instead of forcing you to adapt to it. Below, Golden’s patented MaxiComfort positioning, which the Relaxer introduced, changes the seat angle as you recline, supporting your hips and easing your knees into a comfortable bend that keeps long sitting from turning stiff.

Super-plush rounded armrests offer a soft resting place for your arms, and an extra-wide chaise pad supports your legs all the way down. A pocketed coil seat keeps its comfort through years of use. The AutoDrive hand control puts lifting, reclining and standing on one button, so you can get up safely without straining. Available in small, medium and large, each rated to 400 pounds, the Relaxer is a proven Golden favorite worth sitting in today.

Woman rising with help from a Golden Comforter PR535 power lift

Golden PR535 Comforter with MaxiComfort

Sizes from petite to tall and wide, so your lift chair finally fits.

Here is a problem few people think about until it is too late: most lift chairs come in only one or two sizes. Petite users end up with dangling feet and a chair that pitches them forward. Tall users lose head support. Larger users feel the armrests pinching their hips. Comfort and safety both suffer.

The Golden Comforter with MaxiComfort is the solution. Golden builds it from petite through tall and wide, rated from 400 up to 600 pounds, so we can fit seat height, depth and width to your body. Patented MaxiComfort positioning moves the back and footrest independently and repositions the seat as you recline, relieving pressure on your spine in every position. The lift is smooth and quiet. Add optional heat and massage, then choose Anchor, Bittersweet, Oxford, Port or Sandstorm fabric. Finally, a lift chair that is truly the right size for you.
