Golden Cloud with Twilight power lift chair recliner in a living room

Electropedic offers local delivery, setup and service to all of California

Carlsbad is a long way from most lift chair showrooms, and online sellers know it. Their answer is a freight truck, a heavy box at the curb and a remote you have to figure out alone. When a motor fails, you are on your own.

Electropedic answers differently, with real people and real service. Although our showroom is in Burbank, our own technicians deliver Golden and Pride lift chairs to Carlsbad, across San Diego County and throughout California. They bring the chair inside, set it up exactly where you want it and show everyone in the home how every button works before leaving. After the sale, our lifetime service commitment means we will always try to service an inoperable chair within 24 hours, with loaners available. We keep motors and hand controls in stock, and our family has stood behind every chair since 1964. Distance should never limit your comfort.

Pride VivaLift! Ultra PLR-4955 power lift recliner and its key features

Pride PLR-4955 VivaLift! Ultra lift chair recliner

VivaLift! Tilt, three-zone heat and lumbar massage in Pride’s most complete power lift recliner.

The VivaLift! Ultra is built around one big idea: Pride’s exclusive VivaLift! Tilt. Rather than simply dropping the backrest, the chair pivots from the rear and raises the front of the seat, so your knees rise above your heart and your weight rests evenly across your whole body. You get the deeply restful, weightless feeling that ordinary recliners only promise.

Every comfort you could want is built right in. Heat pads in the shoulders, lumbar and seat offer three warmth settings, and an air-bladder massage works gently on your lower back at three intensities, controlled from buttons inside the armrest. True-infinite positioning, a power headrest and power lumbar let you shape the chair around you. A hideaway wireless charging station and cup holder keep your phone and drink close, and a lithium battery backup keeps the chair running in an outage. Carlsbad, this is the reward you deserve at the end of every day.

Pride VivaLift! Tranquil 2 PLR-935 lift chair recliner in Astro Brown

Pride PLR-935 VivaLift! Tranquil 2 lift chair recliner

Independent back and leg motion, power headrest and lumbar, and two saved positions.

Getting comfortable should not be a project. Yet many recliners tie the head, back and legs together, so lifting your feet tips you too far back and sitting up drops your legs. Add a sore neck, an unsupported lower back and the fear of being stuck when the power fails, and relaxing becomes work.

The VivaLift! Tranquil 2 makes it effortless. True-infinite positioning moves the backrest and footrest independently, and the footrest can rise above your heart to relieve heavy legs. A power headrest lifts your head, neck and shoulders, while power lumbar adds support exactly where your lower back wants it. Save two favorite positions on the ergonomic toggle remote and return to them with one touch, while its USB port charges your phone. A lithium battery backup runs every motor, including the lift that helps you stand, during an outage. Three sizes, three handsome Astro colors, one easy decision.

Golden Cloud PR517 4-zone Medium/Large power lift recliner

Lifestyle photos show the Golden Cloud family in Brisa Coffee Bean.

Golden PR517 Cloud power lift recliner

A posture-friendly bucket seat with four separately adjustable comfort zones.

If you spend hours in your recliner, a flat seat and a one-position headrest catch up with you. Your hips slide forward, your lower back loses support, your neck tires, and you finish every movie stiffer than when you started.

The Golden PR517 Cloud fixes all of it. Its custom bucket seat is shaped to encourage good posture, holding your hips in place while the famously plush Cloud cushioning surrounds you. Golden’s 4-Zone Comfort Zone system with patented MaxiComfort positioning adjusts the footrest, backrest, headrest and lumbar independently, and the seat repositions as you recline so you stay supported in every position. Your favorite setting lives in the programmable AutoDrive hand control, ready at one press. Add HeatWave heat or deluxe heat and vibrating massage for soothing therapy at home. Built in the USA with lifetime coverage on the frame, lift frame and recline mechanism, the Cloud makes every hour in your chair a pleasure.

Golden PR761 EZ Sleeper with Twilight lift chair recliner

Golden PR761 EZ Sleeper with Twilight

Twilight Tilt, MaxiComfort, power headrest and power lumbar in five independent zones.

The EZ Sleeper’s five independent comfort zones combine Golden’s patented Twilight Tilt and MaxiComfort positioning with a power headrest and power lumbar. Twilight Tilt cradles your body back as one, elevating your feet above your heart, so pressure spreads evenly and you feel close to weightless. That is why people who cannot get comfortable lying flat often find this is the chair where they finally sleep through the night.

Golden’s patented Rejuvenate position shifts weight off your seat and onto your back, relieving the soreness that long sitting creates. A plush chaise pad and a pocketed coil spring seat keep you comfortable for hours, and the power lumbar and headrest hold your spine in its natural S-curve. A lithium-ion battery backup keeps every motor working through an outage. With a tailored back and sleek track arms, it looks as good as it feels. Rated to 400 pounds, it is rest you can count on.

Golden Relaxer PR766 power lift chair recliner

Golden PR766 Relaxer lift chair recliner

The original MaxiComfort chair, with a three-pillow waterfall back you can adjust.

Golden’s PR766 Relaxer is the chair that introduced patented MaxiComfort positioning. As you recline, the seat changes angle to cradle your hips and ease your knees into a natural bend, so long afternoons feel restful rather than stiff. Its adjustable three-pillow waterfall back lets you set each pillow where your neck, shoulders and lower back need it, so the support fits you instead of an average body.

Rounded, super-plush armrests welcome your elbows, and an extra-wide chaise pad carries your legs comfortably to the footrest. A pocketed coil seat holds its spring and shape through years of daily use. The AutoDrive hand control makes lifting, reclining and standing a one-button affair, giving you easy independence every time you get up. Offered in small, medium and large, each rated to 400 pounds, the Relaxer remains one of Golden’s most loved chairs. One visit will show you why.

Woman rising with help from a Golden Comforter PR535 power lift

Golden PR535 Comforter with MaxiComfort

Petite to tall and wide, rated from 400 to 600 pounds, fitted to your body.

A lift chair that does not fit cannot do its job. If the seat is too high, your feet leave the floor and the lift tips you forward. If the back is too short, your head has nowhere to rest. If the arms are too close, sitting down means squeezing in. Many stores carry only one or two sizes, so people settle for the wrong chair.

The Golden Comforter with MaxiComfort ends the compromise. Golden builds it from petite through tall and wide, rated from 400 up to 600 pounds, so we can match seat height, depth and width to your body. Patented MaxiComfort positioning moves the back and footrest independently and repositions the seat as you recline, easing spinal pressure in every position. The lift is smooth and quiet. Add optional heat and massage, choose from five standard fabrics and enjoy a chair that finally feels made for you.

Each rental is cleaned and fully serviced, then delivered, set up and demonstrated by our own team, and we pick it up when you are finished. If you love it, our rent-with-option-to-buy plan lets you apply your rental toward a chair of your own. Renting is also a low-risk way to see whether a lift chair suits you before you buy.
